This is a fleece hat I hand sewed to look like a Mudkip. It also has a matching set of paws, and a tail I stitched onto a shirt which I used as a costume for Anime Boston 2008.

This is the 3rd attempt at a hat actually. The first 2 were less than steller, and this has alot to do with my not really knowing how to sew, and knowing even less how to put together a hat. I spent alot of time looking at pictures of other hats trying to figure out how everything fit together, and in the end went for simple "guess and check" style sewing.

Since my first attempt I've learned alot about sewing, and have improved quite a bit. This is good because alot of my friends are demanding I make them Mudkip hats too - which I am happy to do now that I've discovered sewing is sew much fun! (pun intended there)

I'm excited to try different kinds of Pokemon down the road.
