"Steampunk Pippin" costumeby ~BlameTheEconomy

I keep forgetting to post this one, even though its months old now. This is my second attempt at a Steampunk costume , and I think this one was a better effort. So, what are looking at here? Well, the coat and pants I stitched up myself, and combined with a few accessories. My favorite scarf, a few skeleton keys hanging off my shoulder-crossed belts there. The vest I'm wearing is slightly modified, and contains both a pocket watch and an antique compass. A pair of wing-tipped formal shoes tops off the attire. OH! And you'll not the cane I'm sporting there also is steampunk themed. I don't have any better pictures of it though, because I broke it shortly after this photo was taken (shame on me for using a real lightbulb)

All in all I am satisfied with the work here. The coat needs a few minor modifications, and if I wear this costume again I'd like to make myself some spats instead of just hiking up my spats

Oh- and the title? Well the costume was made for something called "Ring Game". A costume re-enactment game based on Lord of Rings. You're allowed to take some liberties with your costume though, so I steampunk'd my favorite Hobbit: Pippin Took.
