Call me a sap, but I kind of like little milestones. I made this deviantart to share some costume pictures about a year and a half ago and didn't really expect that anyone but my friends would see stuff on it. Now I'm one favorite away from having 100 favorites on one of my Steampunk Costume group shots. Maybe its a little silly to be proud of something like that, but its cool to get a little recognition in my fandom of choice.

So, I guess that's all.

So, I could be doing something better with my time right now-but instead I choose to update my dev art journal to let everyone know that best weekend of the year is right coming up!

Portcon 2009 is next weekend June 18-21! WOO HOO!

I hope to see some of you all out here. If nothing else, you gotta watch me wreck the house DJing the rave again this year.

I never seem to use the deviantart journal very often. Maybe because I am used to using livejournal, or possibly because I update art for here to irregularly. I mean, I haven't really done many pokemon hats recently, and I haven't posted any steampunk pictures in a long while. However thats all about to change.

yessir! Coming up a week from today its the start of Anime Boston and me and my new steampunk crew are taking to the streets. Its a whole new ship and a whole new crew (with the exception of the captain -wink) and I hope we can get alot of good pictures to breath some new content into this tired deviantart account. Maybe we'll even see some other steampunks there and get some pretty cool massive group shots.

Besides Anime Boston there's also Portcon2009 to look forward too in a little over a month. Still and awful lot I have to do for that, but it promises to be good times!

Really I was just a little sick of looking at the same journal entry I've had up since October. So I uploaded some new photos of some old work. Pretty cool eh? Steampunk is totally awesome, I gotta get together with a friend of mine and plan out our little spring project.

After a long summer of non-production its time to start the creative juices flowing again; and just in time for Halloween. Cosplay has been an interest of mine for quite some time, but only recently has become a hobby. I strive to put together some really cool stuff sometime in the near future for the upcoming Ring Game (www.ringgame.net) and for Halloween.

So yah. Finally starting to use the DevArt journal. In the upcoming days and weeks look for some new steampunk stuff, AND some new pokemon stuff. The steampunk design is kind of a hybrid wizard-scientist. Working on a whole coat (the hardest thing I've sewed to date) and big wizard staff. The Pokemon project, however, will have to remain a bit of a secret for the time being. I can't say much, but suffice to say I found a BRILLIANT pattern the other day, and it will totally make an excellent pokemon costume for halloween.
